Samson P. Samuel is rated by his peers in the world of photography as one of the pre-eminent photographers in India, by virtue of his exquisite use of light magic in photography.
A Photographer, based in Alleppuzha (Alleppey), Keralam (Kerala); Samson has traveled extensively throughout the length and breadth of the country both on specific assignments and inspired by the infinite variety of landscapes and ecology of the country.
Launched into national recognition by winning the prestigious IRNE Wild Life Award in 1999, Samson has by now carved an enviable niche for himself in Photography and is widely known as a Commercial, Travel and Nature/Wildlife Photographer of keen sensibility and amazing technical skills. He is conversant with State of the Art photographic equipment, and keeps abreast of the developments in the field through journals and periodicals.
Samson also conducts regular workshops on modern trends in photography for amateur as well as professionals. He is also a much sought after resource person for seminar on photography conducted by various institutions. Educated at Leo XIII High School and S.D. College, Samson was initiated into Photography by veteran photographer Benny James. Besides, the passion for art runs in the family: his father Samuel is an artist of repute and sister Lincy Senn nee Samuel holds a Masters in Fine Arts from the Central University, Hyderabad.
